Quickguide - File import

Filetypes
Only .xls, .xlsx files .csv and .txt files can be imported.


.txt files:
Only tab separeted files can be imported.

Content:
Each line in the file must have contain subject information according to the column name.

Matching importfields
System makes qualified guesses as to what field to pair up. The guessing patterns can be updated by the admin.

Finally:
After import, rejected subjects will be available for download. The reason for rejection will be specified in the last column, which has been added by PhonePilot for this purpose.
When import is done, it's important to check that the subjects has been read properly, and the correct fields have been filled with data. If not, delete the subjects and do the import again, pairing the correct fields.
